The Sam Chase & the Untraditional hail from San Francisco, CA.  Their 7 piece live shows blend rock n roll and folk, while maintaining the 

musical sensibilities that come from growing up on a healthy dose of punk rock. Sam's lyrics range from hard rockin' drinking songs, to sensitive ballads that tackle the inner workings of the human condition. Since the bands inception in late 2011, they have released 2 albums, won awards for best band and songwriter in newspaper readers polls, and toured the US.

In the early hours of 2016, Sam and the band went back into the studio and laid down 13 tracks for their 3rd release "Great White Noise." It was released on April 29th, 2016.  Many sages and religious fanatics believe that such perfection will bring about the end of days.  Stay safe.  These are troubled and unpredictable times.
